Thursday, March 25, 2010 1) WATER BAPTISM! Water baptism is really a IMPORTANT step in our christianity ... and it's this SATURDAY and SUNDAY! So, for those who haven't baptise ... you may consider to baptise! 2) LIFE BOOK!  IT IS NOT WHAT YOU KNOW, BUT WHO YOU KNOW. The world is growing bigger and smaller at the same time. Online social networking is the modern day " Tower of Babel" that brings people all across the globe together. And so success ... ... is not about what you know but who you know, ... is not about what you own but who owns you. This Easter, join us and witness the age-gospel story unfold in the modern 21st century context. Here are the TIMINGS and the VENUES ... Jesus is the Reason for the Season! 3) U-Fit!  This Saturday will be our ULTIMATE FRISBEE! Let's all just try to participate but even if you'r not going to particpate, please just try to go and support our cg! and really try to bring all your sporty friends! Let's all have FUN! 10:29 PM Wednesday, March 10, 2010 Hey guys! I'm here to share with you some of my thoughts as I was reading Beauty for Ashes by Joyce Meyer. (It's a gift from the cg for my birthday! thanks!) This book is about receiving emotional healing. I was reading it and Joyce Meyer shared about how she was being abused when she was young and how it left her emotionally shut down. And as years go by she slowly started to learn how to get out of it on her own (with the help of the Lord) and with the help of her husband and others. Praise the Lord for that! Because right now she is really one woman of God who is transforming many many lives. Her destiny in the Lord is so great! This once again confirms that the calling of the Lord is irrevocable. What God has meant for good, no one and nothing can break or destroy it. Even though you're crushed, God will still be able to restore you back just like how He did for Joyce Meyer. No matter how damaged you are, He still have the ability to bring you back to the path that was originally made for you. Because your destiny in Him is gonna be so great, it scares the devil. The devil will think of ways and methods to crush you to make you not able to walk again. Pastor Zhuang once shared during service after baby Tyler was healed. Pastor Kong told him that the devil wanted to attack Tyler at such a tender age, can you imagine how great his destiny is in the Lord? (Not exact words) My dearest friends, whatever you are going through now, preserve! Because it's a stage whereby you'll be molded and will be ready for something that's greater that's in line for you. Paul says in Romans 8:18: For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. The glory that is gonna be revealed in us is not worthy to be compared with our present sufferings. Thank God that He is faithful! HAPPY BIRTHDAY RAE DEAREST! Thank you so much for being such an awesome, beautiful, wonderful leader one can ask for! Thank you for always being there for us and so patiently guide each and everyone of us! W459 LOVES YOU A LOT A LOT A LOT (X INFINITY!) (Sorry this post came really late because my internet has a little problem recently. Cannot load pictures) Anyways, that's Rae with her bb from Edwin! And the Ed Hardy top that you see in the picture is from W459!! Woohooo! This coming Sunday is our zone outreach, FOOD-TO-GENIC! *SCREAMS!* So invite all your friends who like to eat to join us in this very awesome event planned by Jieying! :D Those who don't like to eat also can join us! W459 will be meeting at 12.45pm at City Hall MRT. The event will be from 1.30pm to 4pm. We'll all definitely have a great time together! Bring along your cameras to snap a few pictures to show me because I'll be overseas! AND there'll also many many exciting events coming your way for the whole of March and the first week of April! We'll be having U-fit! 20 March: 3-on-3 basketball 27 March: Ultimate frisbee 3 April: Captain's ball *Take note: Each team must have at least 2 members and 1 new friend So far we've got a guys team for 3-on-3 basketball and a team for ultimate frisbee!
